Tracking a Skincare Regimen
I use my bullet journal for everything that is important in my life. Recently, I’ve decided that I need to get more serious about my skincare. I have always struggled with acne, and I’ll be 29 in April, so it’s time to start making sure that I’m taking care of my skin as well as I can. Because of this, I’ve added a full spread into my journal just for my skincare regimen.
The left side of my skincare spread is my products in “step” order. Here they are:
Step Two: CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser
Step Five: LJH Tea Tree 90 Essence
Step Six: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Serum
Step Seven: Green Tea Collagen Essence Facial Mask Sheet
Step Eight: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Cream
Step Nine: CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
Tracking My Skincare Regimen
On the right side of my spread, I have two trackers. I find that tracking really helps me forming routines. If I track my skincare, I will do it for the satisfaction of crossing it off. If I keep up with it, the tracking leads to a habit, which I will then not have to track anymore.
Here are the routines I will be tracking:
Exfoliator (2-3 x a week)
Sheet Mask (2 x a week)
The most important part of any skincare regimen, or anything designed to help you take better care of your body, is to be consistent and follow through with your plans. I started this year out with the intention of becoming a better version of me, and I have been slowly working on doing that. In January, I started by overhauling my diet with a sugar detox. In February, I introduced exercise back into my life. Now, as we head into March, I am working on caring for my skin. It’s been a slow road. The changes take time, commitment, and patience, but I only get this one body and this one skin. I’m so glad that I have my Bullet Journal to help me make it better each and every day.
